About directory information
Iowa State students, faculty, and staff may choose to suppress some or all of their information. Student email addresses are only visible to users signed in with a NetID. Student emails are not revealed to the general public, but an email message can be sent to a student through a verified form.
If applicable, the following information is searchable and displayed:
- Name
- Email/NetID
- Department
- Major
- ISU office phone
- Role (student, faculty, staff)
How to update or suppress information
Directory information can be managed in the Workday system.
